Hi there! My name is Edouard Harris. I’m a former physicist, ML engineer and software developer. I help run a YC company called SharpestMinds.

SharpestMinds runs a big network of mentors who help aspiring data scientists get jobs in the industry. These mentors are special: they don’t ask for money up front, but instead get paid from a percentage of their mentee’s first year of salary after they’re hired.

One of the things I do is coach our mentees on job search strategy. After getting hundreds of them hired, I’ve become pretty good at it.

I use this newsletter to share some of that knowledge.
